  • Herbal sticks – Fresh stems from the neem tree, miswaak, licorice etc can be used for taking care of your teeth well. Chewing these stems help in combating the problems of tooth decay and cavities successfully. Ensure that the stem that you choose is soft, small and without any leaves. The herbal stems have high anti-bacterial and anti-microbial properties. Along with providing apt protection, the stems also ensure excellent teeth cleaning and avoid formation of plaque.
  • Clove oil – This ingredient has been long used for treating various kinds of dental conditions. Clove oil is found in medicines of oral care, mouthwashes and toothpastes. Due to its medicinal properties, this oil is extensively used for treating tooth ache, mouth ulcers, bleeding gum, cavities, bad breath, sore gum and many other oral problems. Clove oil is also rich in various components including iron, vitamin A, sodium, phosphorus, calcium, potassium, vitamin C etc.
  • Gum massage – Take about 2 teaspoons of pure mustard oil and ¼ teaspoon of sea salt and rock salt and mix them together. Massage the gums with this mixture. This excellent formula helps in killing the germs in the mouth and also strengthens the gums. This formula is also highly effective in combating tooth aches, pyorrhea, bleeding gums and swollen gums. The teeth also remain shiny when brushed with this mixture.
